Who are we?
Our Company History
Our journey started in 2022 as a 100% Black Youth Female Owned company. We’re on a mission to empower youth and promote indigenous African languages.
Social Impact
Job Creation
The studio will create employment opportunities for unemployed youth
in Pietermaritzburg. By offering positions such as junior engineers, voice artists, translators, and production staff, the studio will contribute to reducing unemployment rates in the area.
Skills Development
The studio will provide a platform for local Zulu talent and UKZN drama students to develop their skills in TV and sound production. Through practical experience and working with industry professionals, they will gain valuable knowledge and expertise in their respective fields.
Cultural Preservation
By promoting the use of indigenous African languages, particularly the Zulu language, the studio will contribute to the preservation and promotion of local culture. Dubbing movies and TV series into Zulu will provide access to entertainment content in a language that resonates with the KwaZulu-Natal population.
Partnerships
- We’ve joined hands with the University of KwaZulu-Natal’s Drama Department to nurture young talent and provide job opportunities.
- Future Collaborations: We’re actively seeking collaborations with other local training institutions and acting schools to expand our impact.
